I made this costume under the bigger theme of ecology my graduation
project from Nagoya Mode Gakuen.
It was made of cigarette filters to
introduce the idea of recycling as a source of material to be used
in the future.
Cigarette filters were collected, washed, numerously bleached, and
ultimately sewn together to create the final piece.
Some of the filters were also dyed in order to reveal the texture
of the acetate.
